Flint Under the Stars featuring Christian Rock - Christian Anderson Band
Flint Under the Stars featuring Christian Rock - Christian Anderson Band
October 16, 2024 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
FIM Capitol Theatre
Christian Anderson is a faith-based singer, songwriter, producer, and drummer from Flint, Michigan. He is best known for his catchy melodies, falsetto voice, and putting on an epic show you'll never forget! If you’re watching him perform on stage, you’ll never guess his next move, as he bounces from the mic to piano to drums to the glockenspiel to a keytar. He’s always sure to leave an audience captivated. Since he was 5, Christian learned to play the piano and drum set. He started playing at church at the age of 8, and in high school, he was heavily involved in theatre and the arts. His music is influenced by his experience as a drum major in marching band, being a drummer since childhood, and his love for orchestral and cinematic epics like John Williams and Hans Zimmer. In his first year of college, God called Christian to take the road less traveled and take a leap of faith by pursuing a career in music. He found a passion for using his music to bring hope to the heavy-hearted and courage to those who dare to dream.
Runtime: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes
---------------------------------------------------------
Flint Under the Stars is a concert series that spotlights local talent, held on the third Wednesday of each month under the starry dome of the FIM Capitol Theatre. This series, which supports local artists by providing them with a professional performance experience, features a donate-what-you-wish ticket price. All proceeds benefit KidsTix, a program that expands access to the arts by providing admission to live performances for children and their families.
$10 per ticket is the recommended KidsTix donation for this concert, and we understand that some may be able to give more and some less. Every measure is appreciated, and everyone is welcome.

Dog Man: The Musical
Dog Man: The Musical is a hilarious production based on the worldwide bestselling series from Dav Pilkey, the creator of Captain Underpants and Cat Kid Comic Club.
Best buds George and Harold have been creating comics for years, but now that they’re in 5th grade, they figure it's time to level up and write a musical based on their favorite character, Dog Man, the crime-biting sensation who is part dog, part man, and ALL HERO!! How hard could it be?
With the head of a dog and the body of a policeman, Dog Man loves to fight crime and chew on the furniture. But while trying his best to be a good boy, can he save the city from Flippy the cyborg fish and his army of Beasty Buildings? Can he catch Petey, the world’s most evil cat, who has cloned himself to exact revenge on the doggy do-gooder? And will George and Harold finish their show before lunchtime?? Find out in this epic musical adventure featuring the hilarity and heart of Dav Pilkey’s beloved characters.
Dog Man: The Musical is written by Kevin Del Aguila and Brad Alexander, who collaborated on the Emmy-winning series Peg + Cat on PBS, TheaterWorksUSA’s Click, Clack, Moo, and Clifford The Big Red Dog on PBS and Amazon. Jen Wineman directs and choreographs.
