In their art, McCallum & Tarry bring underrepresented communities to the forefront, using photography, video, performative sculpture, and self-portraiture to create works that are often confrontational, emotional, and personal. This talk is presented in conjunction with the exhibition "From Her Perspective: Intersections of Gender and Race", which features paintings, photography, sculpture, and works on paper by artists who explore Blackness, womanhood, and the female experience through their art.
